Here is the ninteenth episode of Quantum Foam, Loop Quantum Gravity. We are taking a look at this alternative theory to String Theory that is a candidate for The Theory Of Everything. This is a newish theory that is more like a method. What if there is another game in town that is able to describe Quantum Gravity? We think that you have to have a background-independent formulation in your Theory Of Everything. Everybody is a big G if they know what they are talking about. We are trying to come up with a conservative vector field that describes space-time with connetions. String Theory necessitates background-dependency. Loop Quantum Gravity could be placed on top of a String Theory math box and both would not interact with each another. This theory relys upon connections between space-time quanta. LQG uses a region of space-time that is written with a purturbative method, which is called a spinor field. Loops are sections of space-time that are Ashtekar Variables. Asymptotic quantization of the variables were needed in order for Loop Quantum Gravity to be built. ADM formalisms such as a Hamiltonian formulation of General Relativity are being examined. This was an important prerequisite for Loop Quantum Gravity. Now we are working with canonical variables using an unusual way to describe spaces. Lagrangians do not change in these inertial reference frames. Loop Quatum Cosmology has been written for the layment to be able to understand in the form of available published books. This methodology looks at particles, loops, and spinor fields. We need a theory that uses the correct verison of General Relativity and is able to match space with the correct use of time.
The gold of Loop Quantum Gravity is that it doesn't require supersymmetry or a million dimensions, and it doesn't necessitate a background-dependent grid lattice. We are interested in the function of entropy when considering Black Hole physics. There are various groups around the world that check this theory to see if it has any more merrit than String Theory or any other theory of Quantum Gravity. Bekenstein-Hawking entropy is a hidden window into Quantum Gravity. Do these constructs really describe reality? We are demonstrating spin networks, which show states of mathematical interactions. There is a Plank-Dirac constant to be mindful of. Black Hole event horizons do not seem to increase except for when more matter goes into the Black Hole. It depends on what kind of Black Hole. Some rotate and others have different attributes. We are trying to use hidden information that may be within these Black Holes. The math for a White Hole should be the negative and inverse math for a Black Hole. At this point in time, we are unsure as to where a Black Hole leads whether to the same universe or an alternate one. We are currently unable to test these predictions. We are looking at functions that are applied to different grid systems. There is still a time problem present in this theory and most other theories as well. We know there is something different about the 3 spatial dimensions and the 1 dimension of time. We are looking at different theories that can be used to fully describe Quantum Gravity. There are other classes of approaches that study alternatives to these competing theories. Many of these ideas have not been proven and oppose one another. If Einstein was wrong, it was just because he didn't have right picture at the time. There are a lot of important people that were instrumental in formulating the theory of Loop Quantum Gravity and it is an active area of study today. It is a so-called interconnected network of quanta and can be your contender for The Theory of Everything right now.

Finally, there exists a podcast that covers it all! The Quantum Foam Podcast Show can be thought of as a clever and informative mix between "Bill Nye The Science Guy, Rick & Morty, and The Big Bang Theory!"

Quantum Foam is a new podcast with absolutely ridiculous content covering almost all topics relating to science across the board. The idea of achieving the famous Theory of Everything seems to be in the air lately. Such an idea can then be presented as episodes of Quantum Foam in an audio podcast form that will serve to bond together the very powerful and insightful ideas, concepts, and realizations of Physics as a professional discipline. Unifying Relativity and Quantum Mechanics never seemed so . . . possible? Quantum Foam finds its focus directly pointing at the most accepted scientific thought in this day in the beginning of the Information Age. These areas include String Theory, Loop Quantum Gravity, Einstein's famous General Theory of Relativity, Cosmology, Advanced Mathematical Theory, and much more.
Information technology and innovation are at a point where each presently require a Quantum Leap in order to move forward to the next phase. This process, while imperative, is still quite a sophisticated discipline in and of itself. Many will need to satisfactorily understand Quantum Computing and Uncertainty in general very early on. Why not take such a daunting task and turn it into something fun, provocative, and ridiculous instead? And this can be done while still holding strict guidelines in accuracy and application. Enjoy learning about math and physics in a completely free-form manner with no filters, no agendas, un-cut, and raw! We will not be censoring any vulger cursing or other inappropriate references, yet unwanted racial and sexual references etc. will not be included.
Each episode is exactly 30 minutes long and each follow a standard structure. There is an intro stating the title and topic, followed by the Quantum Foam theme song, Physics of the Future, by H-Wave. Then at exactly 15 minutes into the podcast show, there is a mid-point section to keep the listener fresh and to remind which episode is currently streaming. At the end of the podcast, the last 30 seconds, the standard Zerothwave Disclaimer is played. An expanded version of this disclaimer can be found here.
Zerothwave Productions currently is releasing the show on its own website using its state-of-the-art online waveform player platform. Listen to the podcast at actual 320 kbps .mp3 streaming audio right here at Zerothwave.com! The Quantum Foam podcast will likely also be released elsewhere on other platforms soon as well. XML RSS feeds are an old technology but is still in heavy use today. The Zerothwave.com website will be upgrading hosting servers steadily over the next decade and beyond to bring you the highest quality audio possible. Stay tuned for more content!
